Comissions

Raúl Amaya - Director

Married and father of two sons. Chilean of the Province of Santa María de los Andes. Spent two years on the course of Master of Psychospiritual Accompaniment. Is also a Master in School Management and is now studying for the Diploma in Marist Patrimony. Was teacher of literature in theColegio Alonso de Ercilla de Santiago and co-ordinator of guidance in one of the sections of the college. Worked in the college Pastoral and Vocational Ministries. In 2010 was asked by the Province and the Sector to take charge of the co-ordination of the Spirituality and Laity Team of Chile.Is aSector Adviser of the Fraternities and responsible for animating the vocational journey of some 20 lay Marists.

Pep Buetas - Co-director

Pep (Josep) was born in 1968, married with Merce, with 3 children, Anna, Clara and Oriol. All are from Barcelona. He is a Marist educator and as such has been a trainer in youth movements, a professor at the "Maristes la Immaculate" (Barcelona) and in recent years has been in the general coordination of the educational works of Catalonia. About the Laity Animation, he has been responsible for the Provincial Secretariat of communion between Brothers an lay people. He is also member of the European Commission for the communion between Brothers an lay people. With his wife, he did a year experience of international cooperation, in Paraguay, living in the community of brothers. They were part of a ChMMF's fraternity and currently they belong to a group of Marist life, in which live Brothers and lay people.

Agnes Reyes - Co-director

Agnes Segovia Reyes , from Philippines, graduated BS in Guidance and Counseling. She has Master’s Degree in Theological Studies and a training on Pastoral Leadership and Management for Mission. Currently, she is taking courses on Spirituality and Retreat Direction at the Loyola School of Theology, Ateneo de Manila University. Agnes was a member of the International Commission on the preparation of the document Water From the Rock and the Commission on the Revitalization of Champagnat Movement. She served as past member of the Extended Secretariat of Laity and Chairperson of the Asia Laity Commissión. She was a lay volunteer of the Mission Ad Gentes in 2010. In her 23 years of employment at Notre Dame of Marbel University, she worked in various capacities as Guidance Counselor, Director of Champagnat Community College, and Director of Campus Ministry, among others. Presently, she is the Coordinator of Laity, East Asia Province.
